| 1995 - 1996 was a mostly uninspired period for Leeds, notable only for the club's look in the League Cup Last. A triumph more than Aston Villa at Wembley would have glossed more than a disappointing 13th location finish, but a lacklustre Leeds display led to a 3-0 drubbing in the fingers from the Midlands aspect.
